"A long time ago in a galaxy far far away..."

George Lucas has put some of his huge wealth into the creation of a new museum, housed in a spectacular building. It's called the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art.

The museum was funded entirely by filmmaker George Lucas and wife Mellody Hobson.

“The Lucas Museum is one of the largest private cultural gifts in American history: more than $1 billion, every penny of it private. No public funds. No public financing. No public debt,”

It opens in a couple of weeks.

According to the Museum's website:

The Lucas Museum explores how narrative art shapes our world—expressing beliefs, communicating values, expanding imagination, and inviting conversation.

There have been some early reviews from preview visitors.
