Jan 24: Casablanca (1942) - dir. Michael Curtiz

I asked yesterday for suggestions of films that feature maps or montages of maps quite strongly. Here's one I had previously identified, which is also a classic film.

The first couple of minutes of this film are basically made up of a map of North Africa... and this sets the context for the classic film to follow, featuring various intrigues around the time of World War II.

The movie was a box-office hit, receiving unexpected publicity from the Allied landing in the real city of Casablanca in November 1942 and from the conference held there by U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt and British Prime Minister Winston Churchill two months later.

What other films can you name where maps are significant to the plot or make an appearance?
