Mar 13: Film Story Map #1
I'll share StoryMaps that have film-based content on the blog during the year.
Some of these are made by students and shared as part of work done for assesssments or for hobbies
StoryMaps are ideal for linking films with geography, particularly landmarks and landscapes that are connected with particular films. Check them out if you are not familiar with them - I may well have a go at creating my own in due course as part of the proposed film unit that I have started to put together.
This one by Christa Gilray explores locations that are linked to three films: The Shining, The King and You've Got Mail. It's a bit of a random choice of films, but shows that a StoryMap can be made about any topic. It might be a model for others to take and work with. Some people use StoryMaps, or Microsoft Sway, to act as a blog or diary of sorts.
Happy to feature more StoryMaps.
