May 9: Film London

Film London is another of a range of websites which supports film companies wanting to base themselves in the capital. Obviously a great many films and other TV series have been made in the capital city going back many decades when perhaps a larger proportion of films were made in the city. Growing costs and the issues of getting clearance have seen other locations now standing in for London occasionally. I've seen a few film sets and productions happening over the years while walking through the capital - most recently on Tottenham Court Road.
