Apr 8: Cliffhanger (1993) dir. Renny Harlin

OK, so here's a clip from 'Cliffhanger' featuring Sylvester Stallone.

Don't worry about the plot - it doesn't make a lot of sense.

Think about the ridiculous nature of the climbing technique showed here, and the path taken by the avalanche.

Think about the likely temperatures at the altitude they are, and the way they are dressed.

Films I watched today:

Blueprint for Robbery (1961) - dir. Jerry Hopper

I quite liked this crime film featuring a robbery that went well, but slowly came unstuck.

Vertigo (1958) - dir. Alfred Hitchcock

Classic Hitchcock, and number 1 on the BFI list (and subject of one of my son's film / photography projects as well)
