Jul 26: Blade Runner (1982) dir. Ridley Scott

One of the most recognisable films of all time and one which has influenced many other films since.

The city shown is a future version of Los Angeles.

It is set in the year 2019.

The weather is perpetually raining and Harrison Ford plays Deckard.

Replicants escape from a spaceship and Deckard's job is to track them down. Rutger Hauer gives a great performance with his final monologue another famous moment...

There's also a sequel, which also featured Harrison Ford as Deckard, thirty years on from the original film.
