Oct 17: A Clockwork Orange (1972) dir. Stanley Kubrick

This film is a favourite of my son's despite its controversial nature which saw it banned for many years.

This year sees its 50th anniversary and he went to a special screening in Norwich earlier in the year.

Plenty on urban dystopia and other aspects of culture, all framed through Anthony Burgess's imagination.

Some of the locations for the film are indentified in this YouTube movie, which was partly filmed in various parts of London, some of which remain recognisable.
