Aug 15: Criterion Collection

The Criterion Collection is a series of BluRays which come in special packaging with unique extras.

They were first produced in the USA and replaced an earlier label, which focussed on LaserDiscs - a format which was quickly superceded by DVD and then BluRay.

There are also options for film directors to go into the Criterion Closet and pick some films of their choice. You can see videos of some of their choices online.

My son has a fair collection of these films, and also subscribes to the Criterion Channel, which gives another chance to the see the films through the use of a VPN.
