Sep 2: The Rings of Power

A new series is going to start this week on Amazon Prime and has been attracting a lot of attention, and also cost rather a lot of money.

It is called The Rings of Power and is a prequel to the action in Lord of the Rings, which were made into films by Peter Jackson. There is plenty here on the mythology and origins of the narratives in Lord of the Rings, and the emergence of Sauron. There have been a number of books published about this era, which features many of the same characters as Elves are immortal....

Very much looking forward to watching this... more of an appetite than for House of the Dragon...
