Dec 10: On the Buses (1971) dir.Harry Booth
Films I watched today - this one....
"Oh it's a great life on the buses..."
A film spin-off from the popular TV series, which was full of the usual early 1970s tropes...
There's a Fan Club website which shares all sorts of information about the series and the films.
They were filmed in Borehamwood, with other scenes at the studios which can be seen in some of the shots.
The plots are very much 'of their time' - lots of talk of buns in ovens etc.
Here's some of the cast talking about their favourite moments - many of them are now no longer with us.
