Dec 19: Bear Island (1980) dir. Don Sharp

I watched this yesterday on Talking Pictures TV.

It features another map which is shown later in the post.

It is a film about a research team that is heading to a remote island for six months to research climate change, but ends up being about an attempt to find hidden Nazi gold... 

Some very odd moments and vehicles and a spot of silliness. The dialogue is also largely about exposition.

The film certainly has an all-star cast.

It was shot in Canada and Alaska, and has some dramatic scenery.
